Turmeric Tea Recipes to Fight Inflammation

Turmeric Tea aids in decreasing your inflammation.

Turmeric benefits are primarily due to the active compound called curcumin.

Recipe #1
Ingredients:
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup water
1 Tablespoon ghee
1 Tablespoon raw honey
1 teaspoon ground turmeric

Directions: Pour coconut milk and water into a saucepan and warm for 2 minutes. Add butter (ghee), raw honey and turmeric powder. Heat for another 2 minutes. Stir and pour into a glass. Enjoy!

Recipe #2
Ingredients:
1 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon honey

Directions: Heat almond milk to desired temperature, stir in cinnamon, turmeric and ginger. Drizzle honey to taste and enjoy!

Recipe #3
Ingredients:
4 cups water
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
Honey
Sliced lemon

Directions: Bring water to boil and add ground turmeric, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain the tea through a fine sieve into a cup. Add honey and/or lemon to taste.
